The Production Designer

Do you like to draw? You might have what it takes to be a production designer. Responsible for the entire visual look of a film, including sets, props, furniture, and textiles, production designers work tirelessly to create realistic looking settings and atmosphere for each scene of a film so that the director’s vision can be achieved. You’ll see how they do it by looking at actual models and miniatures used on the set of the film Moulin Rouge, and original artwork and set designs from films like Titanic, Planet of the Apes, Alien Resurrection, and I, Robot. So don’t stop drawing. You never know where you’ll end up.
